The Los Angeles Lakers made a huge splash on February 2, 2025, when they traded for superstar Luka Doncic. LA has another superstar they plan to add to their roster this summer.

New reports have come out stating the Lakers will pursue Milwaukee Bucks disgruntled superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.

“The Lakers will aggressively pursue a trade for Antetokounmpo this offseason, and sources told Lakers Daily that Antetokounmpo has ‘always wanted’ to play with and learn from LeBron James, the NBA’s all-time leading scorer,” Ashish Mathur of the Lakers Daily wrote.

This news could certainly change the Lakers’ initial reported plans for this offseason.

LA was supposed to move on from LeBron after this season, but if adding The Greek Freak becomes a possibility because he wants to play with King James, then we may see LeBron in a Lakers jersey, possibly for the remainder of his career.
