The NBA trade deadline is Thursday, February 5, at 3 PM EST. A new rumor has surfaced stating that the Los Angeles Clippers may trade James Harden. This was reported by Shams Charania, who noted that the two sides are working on finding a trade for Harden.
The rumors initially began when Harden missed the Clippers’ last two games for “personal reasons.”
Clippers star Kawhi Leonard was asked if the Harden trade news was surprising.
“Yeah, of course, that’s a surprise, I was playing,” Leonard said. “I have no comment on it. I respect his decision, or whoever’s decision it is, and that’s it. He’s still going to be my boy. I trust the front office.”
It appears the Clippers and Harden are headed for a split before the trade deadline. The only question now is where he will be traded.
