The New York Knicks looked to put away the Detroit Pistons for good tonight. Unfortunately, for the Knicks, the Pistons were ready for a fight.

The game remained close for most of it, as there were 25 lead changes. Ultimately, an 8-2 run toward the end of the fourth quarter by Detroit was enough to put New York away.

The Pistons won 106-103 behind 24 points from Cade Cunningham and 22 from Ausar Thompson. Jalen Brunson struggled mightily for the Knicks, scoring 16 points on 4-16 shooting.

New York still leads the series 3-2 and will look to put the young Pistons away for good in Game 6 this Thursday, at 7:30 PM EST.
