Diego Pavia accepts invite to Baltimore Ravens’ minicamp

Former Vanderbilt quarterback and undrafted free agent Diego Pavia has accepted an invite to the Baltimore Ravens’ minicamp next weekend, per NFL insider Adam Schefter.

Pavia went undrafted after being named a Heisman Trophy finalist for his impressive 2025 season with the Commodores. He is the first Heisman finalist to do so since Jordan Lynch in 2014.

He went undrafted for a number of reasons. At just 5’10”, Pavia would already be one of the shortest QBs in the NFL. While he’s certainly proven his abilities, he’s not viewed as an elite prospect.

On top of this, attitude issues and concerns about off-field behavior only made it riskier for teams to select Pavia.

This doesn’t mean he can’t bring something to the table at the NFL level. Pavia is fiercely competitive and has shown his ability to be the offensive engine on a winning football team.

This was good enough for the Ravens, who extended a minicamp invite to Pavia. Time will tell if he makes the most of this opportunity.
