Atlanta Hawks

Atlanta Hawks are in the market for veteran forward, Paul George

Atlanta has a superstar on its roster, but to help him get to the next level they may need another baller.

Conversations are starting to heat up on Paul George to the Hawks. The nine-time NBA All-Star and 2019 first-team All-NBA selection did not have a good season in Philadelphia. George dealt with injuries and posted the fourth-lowest points per game average (16.2) for his career. He is not the same player he was in Indiana, Oklahoma City, or in a couple of years with the Clippers, yet he still brings production. George, 34, would be a good mentor for Trae Young if Atlanta makes the move.

Report: 76ers down Paul George for remainder of season with knee injury

Basketball Forever posted via X on Monday that the Hawks were an option for George. NBA Analysis also released an in-depth article on March 14 about why Atlanta is the most ‘logical destination‘ for him. George signed a four-year, $212 million deal for the 76ers on July 6, 2024, but Philadelphia is regretting it. The injuries are starting to pile up and the 76ers are seeing it’s not worth it.

George still has three years left on his deal in Philly, but will the team stick with him?

It is very possible for George to go to “Hotlanta” and revive his career.
