The Denver Nuggets escaped a tough, hard-fought game against the Houston Rockets, winning 112-109. Early on things looked bleak for Denver as Aaron Gordon left after just three minutes in the game.
Gordon re-aggravated a right hamstring injury he’s been dealing with for quite some time.

Luckily for the Nuggets, they still had Nikola Jokic. He went off for 34 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists. This includes a huge dunk over Alperen Sengun.
Jokic received some help as well. Jamal Murray chipped in 26 points and 10 assists. This was much needed as the Rockets saw rookie Reed Sheppard score a career-high 27 points in the game.
Denver got a big break as Kevin Durant struggled scoring 13 points on 5-14 shooting. Hopefully for Denver’s sake, Gordon won’t be out for long.
For now, the Nuggets will take another big win behind another great performance from Nikola Jokic.
