In a performance that blended dominance with historic significance, Nikola Jokic etched his name deeper into NBA lore on Thursday, as the Denver Nuggets defeated the Orlando Magic 126-115.

The Serbian superstar recorded his 13th triple-double of the season with 23 points, 11 rebounds, and 13 assists, surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most career assists by a center in NBA history.

Jokic finished the game with 5,667 career assists. It took the Nuggets star just 771 games to achieve this feat. As for Abdul-Jabbar, he amassed 5,660 career assists in 1,560 games.

Jokic has solidified his place as the greatest passing big man of all time. He’s inching closer to becoming the GOAT big man.
