Montreal Canadiens center Nick Suzuki has won the Frank J. Selke Trophy, awarded to the forward who best excels in the defensive aspects of the game. Anthony Cirelli and Brock Nelson finished second and third in voting.

Suzuki joins Bob Gainey and Guy Carbonneau as the only players in Montreal’s history to win the award. He finished 13th in voting in 2024 and 2025.

Suzuki’s victory marked the second-largest margin between first and second place in the award’s history, as he received 1,726 points to Cirelli’s 467.
