The New York Knicks defeated the struggling New Orleans Pelicans 130-125 in a thrilling offensive battle, extending their win streak to three.

Jalen Brunson led the team with 28 points and dished out 10 assists. He needed to contribute some clutch points late in the game with a floater and a layup with a minute left.

OG Anunoby scored a double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds, while young forward Mohamed Diawara scored a season-high 18 points.

The Pelicans, who had lost four straight coming in, gave the Knicks all they could handle with Zion Williamson scoring a season-high 32 points.

Saddiq Bey and Jordan Poole chipped in with 26 points apiece, while Trey Murphy III added 21.

This is a positive win that shows the strength and momentum that New York has as a contender for the title. For the Pelicans, this is indicative of their continued trouble with closing out their games.
