Los Angeles Clippers star James Harden passed Moses Malone on Sunday to reach 11th place on the NBA’s all-time scoring list with 27,416 career points.
While being a three-time scoring champ and a two-time assist champ, Harden is one of the most dominant offensive forces of his generation, but recency bias and an aging skillset have caused Harden to go under the radar in recent years. 13-year NBA veteran Channing Frye made an interesting point about Harden in terms of all-time shooting greatness.

“He’s one of the better shooters we never talk about, one of the better point guards that we don’t talk about,” Frye said. “No one ever talks about his work ethic. If Steph didn’t exist, we would be absolutely talking about Harden as one of the best shooters ever.”

Although he’s almost 900 threes behind Stephen Curry, he’s already surpassed Ray Allen for 2nd on the all-time 3PT list with 3,144 makes and counting.
The last several years of Harden’s career have been streaky, but he’s having his best season in a long time and should be recognized as one of the greatest shooters ever.
