The Oklahoma City Thunder have won the 2025 NBA championship. It took OKC seven games, which was longer than most expected, but they are the champions of the NBA.

The Thunder won Game 7 103-91 over the Indiana Pacers. It was a shame that Tyrese Haliburton injured his Achilles tendon and left halfway through the first quarter.

Still, Oklahoma City had been the best team all season long and they proved why tonight. They have the MVP in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and SGA won the Finals MVP, as well.
Gilgeous-Alexander scored 29 points while adding 12 assists in Game 7. For the series, he averaged 30.3 points per game, proving why he is the league MVP.

The Thunder are the NBA champions and they have a very bright future. OKC’s team age average is just 25.6 years. This means OKC could possibly win multiple championships over the next few seasons.
This is a scary thought for the rest of the NBA. Oklahoma City is a city deserving of an NBA title, and the dream has finally come true.
