Michael Jordan’s agent doesn’t believe LeBron is top two all-time

Michael Jordan is often considered to be the GOAT in basketball. Even with being retired for over 20 years, he’s usually the top pick.

The one player who gets the nod in fan and expert voting over MJ on occasion is LeBron James. Most younger fans actually would pick LeBron over Jordan.

One person who would not pick LeBron over Jordan, nor believe he’s top two all-time is MJ’s former agent, David Falk. In a recent interview, Falk explained why he doesn’t have LeBron in his top two all-time.

“I really like LeBron,” Falk said. “But I think if Jordan had cherry-picked what teams he wanted to be on and two other superstars, he would’ve won 15 championships.”

Falk’s statement may rattle some fans but he’s not necessarily wrong. LeBron has picked what teams he wanted to play on and with what players. Sometimes it worked out, like joining Dwyane Wade in Miami.

Other times, it did not, like adding Russell Westbrook to the Lakers’ roster. Still, to have the luxury to hop teams and add hand-picked players, has given LeBron an edge.

It has also weakened the league, as other players, like Kevin Durant, have followed suit. At the end of the day LeBron James is one of the greatest players to ever lace up a pair of basketball shoes.

He’s just not in David Falk’s top two all-time. That’s okay, as everyone is entitled to have their own opinion.
