Michael Jordan has been in the news a lot recently. One main reason is that he is suing NASCAR.

On the ninth day of the trial, the two sides reached a settlement. One major goal for Jordan and his legal team was to make charters, which essentially represent each team’s position in a race, permanent, and they sought an increase in revenue sharing.

“As a condition of the settlement agreement, NASCAR will issue an amendment to existing charter holders detailing the updated terms for signature, which will include a form of ‘evergreen’ charters, subject to mutual agreement,” the joint statement reads.

Jordan was a winner on the basketball court in the past. Now, despite not officially winning, he still won in court, as he essentially got what he wanted from NASCAR.
