The LeBron James era in Los Angeles may be headed for a rocky ending. New reports have come out stating that LeBron wanted an extension from the Lakers but they wouldn’t give it to him.

This is why he opted into his contract.

This news is an indication that the Lakers are ready to move on from LeBron. This is likely the reason why they traded Anthony Davis for Luka Doncic last season.
