The Los Angeles Lakers dropped 45 points in the first quarter of their game against the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday. Luka Doncic scored 14 of his 24 points in the opening quarter to help jumpstart the Lakers’ offense.

LeBron James led LA with 25 points as the Lakers held a 39-point lead at one point. The Lakers went on to win 125-109, improving their record to 30-19 on the season. The Nets fell to 13-36.
