The Los Angeles Lakers looked to get back on top in the New Year with a win against the Memphis Grizzlies. LA came out strong holding a 15-point lead at one point in the first half.

The Lakers wound up winning 128-121, thanks to 34 points from Luka Doncic and 31 from LeBron James. Memphis battled hard after giving up 39 first-quarter points to LA.
