Kevin Durant led the way for the Houston Rockets on Tuesday as they secured a 111-94 victory over the New York Knicks.

Durant started the game with a red-hot 10-0 scoring run before anyone else on the court even scored. The Rockets used this momentum to put up 37 points in the first quarter, whilst holding the Knicks to just 21 points.

New York responded with a scoring run of their own to start the second quarter but Houston maintained pace and entered halftime with a 13-point advantage.

In the third quarter, Durant continued to have his way with the Knicks. As New York struggled to score, Houston kept pouring on the points.

They ended the third quarter on a 20-4 run and coasted through the fourth quarter while maintaining their lead.

Durant finished the game with 27 points, six rebounds and eight assists.

For the Knicks, Karl-Anthony Towns put up 22 points, eight rebounds and three assists.

The victory helped the Rockets improve to 46-29 while the Knicks fell to 48-28 with the loss.
