The Utah Jazz nearly gave away the game to the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday night. After leading by 14 points in the second quarter, Utah found themselves down by seven with just 4:39 remaining in the game.
Then, Lauri Markkanen took over. He scored three straight times to help the Jazz go on a 12-0 run. Utah squeezed out a 116-114 victory behind Markkanen’s 33 points.

For the Mavericks, Cooper Flagg lit up the scoreboard with 26 points, pulled down 10 rebounds, and then dished out eight assists for Dallas.
