The Jacksonville Jaguars and tight end Brenton Strange have agreed to a three-year contract extension worth $48 million. Strange is entering the final year of his contract.

Strange was selected by the Jaguars with the 61st overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Over the course of three seasons, Strange has played in 43 games, putting up 91 catches for 986 yards and six touchdowns.

However, Strange had a career year last season. He quickly became quarterback Trevor Lawrence‘s favorite target, putting up 46 catches for 540 yards and three touchdowns.

The extension comes just one day after the Atlanta Falcons and tight end Kyle Pitts agreed to a three-year, $54 million extension, with $36 million guaranteed.
