The Miami Heat were not supposed to be contenders entering this season. They lost Jimmy Butler last year and were expected to be fighting for a Play-In spot.

After defeating the Philadelphia 76ers 127-117 yesterday, the Miami Heat have now won four straight games and sit in fourth place in the East with an 11-6 record. In the game against the 76ers, Norman Powell stepped up big, scoring 32 points while Bam Adebayo chipped in 18 points and 13 rebounds.

It will be a stretch to say the Heat will continue this hot play over the course of the season. But stranger things have happened.
