The Atlanta Hawks declined the $24.3 million team option on Jonathan Kuminga according to ESPN’s Shams Charania. Kuminga will now enter free agency in search for another deal

Following a disappointing first four and a half years with the Golden State Warriors, Kuminga was traded at the deadline and blossomed as a high energy boost off the bench for a Hawks team which made a late run to the playoffs.

The Sacramento Kings are expected to make an offer to Kuminga according to Marc. J. Spears after making an offer for him at the deadline.

In his 16 games in Atlanta, Kuminga averaged 12.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists on 54.8% shooting from the floor.
