New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart addressed his team after introducing President Donald Trump at an event in New York last week according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo.
Dart’s appearance sparked online debate from media as well as teammates such as defensive lineman Abdul Carter who reacted on social media saying “Thought this s— was AI, what we doing man,” in a recently deleted post. Carter would later share that he and Dart ‘spoke earlier as men’ and that there were no issues.

Offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor also said “locker room is fine,” during a social media post after the criticisms.
Per the report, Giants veterans Brian Burns, Kayvon Thibodeaux and Jameis Winston also spoke during the team meeting as the group looked to move forward.
Carter and Dart were both first round picks by the Giants in 2025.
Carter, selected third overall, recorded 43 tackles with four sacks during his rookie season.
Dart, picked with the No. 25 selection, started 12 games throwing for 2,272 yards, 15 touchdowns and five interceptions.
