The Los Angeles Lakers lost Game 1 of their first-round series against the Minnesota Timberwolves. It wasn’t just LA lost, it’s how they lost.

The Lakers were soundly destroyed by the Timberwolves, who seemed to hit every shot they took. Luka Doncic was the only Lakers player who seemed to find a rhythm, but even his best run occurred in the first quarter.

After the loss, former NBA head coach George Karl, took to X to call out the Lakers.

Karl is certainly not a fan of the Lakers. His post caused a reaction from fans. Some agreed with him, and others came to the Lakers’ defense.

Many fans praise the former NBA coach for his quick wit. Karl has shown a different side of himself from what he ever had while being an active coach in the league.

As for this series, it is far from over, as it is a seven-game series. The Lakers will have to make the right adjustments for Game 2. This is something they are capable of doing.

The problem is, will the Timberwolves be ready for them?
