While reigning Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza is expected to be the top pick in the upcoming NFL draft, he informed the league on Tuesday that he plans to skip out on attending the draft in person.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Mendoza is opting to experience the draft with his family in Miami.

He’s largely expected to be selected by the Las Vegas Raiders as the No. 1 pick in the upcoming draft.
