The defending champion Thunder will play 34 times on TV. The runner-up Pacers, however, only have nine nationally televised games.
This caused a reaction from fans.
Most Pacers fans were upset, calling it disrespectful. Other fans pointed out some solid points. The Pacers will be without their star guard, Tyrese Haliburton, all season long. This is certainly a gut blow to their chances of showing on TV.
Also, Indiana is a small market and it is hard to get games shown there. Unless you’re like Oklahoma City and boast the MVP and the championship-winning team.
