NBA fans react to SGA’s second straight MVP win

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is now the NBA’s Most Valuable Player for the second year in a row. He had a fantastic season, averaging 31.1 points, 6.6 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game while shooting a blistering 55.3% from the field.

In doing so, he led the Thunder to the league’s best record for the second year in a row, finishing the regular season at 64-18.

No matter who wins the award each year, NBA fans always voice their opinions passionately after the announcement was made. That was no different when NBA insider Shams Charania broke the news on Sunday, with some fans celebrating while others clearly disagreed.

SGA has long been one of the most polarizing players in the NBA, but we’ll be having some difficult conversations if his career only improves from here.
