Michigan Wolverines point guard Elliot Cadeau reportedly suffered an allergic reaction on Wednesday just before the team departed for Indianapolis ahead of the Final Four.

According to a school announcement, Cadeau may have had an allergic reaction to something he ate before being evaluated by medical staff.

“The doctors evaluated Elliot and he is fine,” Michigan spokesperson Tom Wywrot said. “Out of an abundance of caution, he is receiving medical supervision and will be traveling to Indianapolis later today.”

Detroit radio station WWJ 950 posted a video to social media that shows a covered individual being stretchered out of the team facility and into an ambulance.

Fortunately, Cadeau is alright and will reportedly be ready to go for Saturday’s highly anticipated final four matchup against the Arizona Wildcats.

He’s averaged 10.2 points and 5.8 assists this season and has a chance to help lead the Wolverines to their first national championship since 1989.

James Parker contributed to this story.
