InUnThe Anaheim Ducks have announced that Lukas Dostal will start in net for Game 4 against the Las Vegas Golden Knights despite his playoff struggles this postseason. Dostal was pulled in the Ducks’ Game 3 loss Friday night after allowing three goals on eight shots. It was his second time this postseason being pulled from a game.

Dostal has had his ups and downs this postseason. He has started every game for the Ducks this postseason, and has a .876 save percentage and a 3.48 GAA. In addition, he only has two games this postseason where he has allowed two goals or less.

Despite Dostal’s personal struggled, the Ducks have found themselves in the second round of the playoffs. They upset the Edmonton Oilers in six games in the first round, who had one of the best offenses in the league led by Connor McDavid. Dostal put up a 4-2 record, with a .874 save percentage and 3.87 GAA. He was pulled in Game 5 for allowing three goals on nine shots. Fortunately, the Ducks still found a way to win the series.

However, the Ducks find themselves down 2-1 to the Golden Knights in round two. The Ducks are hoping to get a Game 2 performance from Dostal, where he stopped 21 of 22 shots, allowing the only goal with six seconds left in the game.
