New York Yankees outfielder Jasson Dominguez made a fantastic catch in the first inning of Thursday’s battle with the Texas Rangers, but it came with a cost.
Rangers hitter Brandon Nimmo hit a sharp line drive towards the wall and Dominguez went all out for the catch. As he jumped to make the snag, he slammed into the outfield wall before falling to the ground.

He was tended to by medical staff before being taken off the field on a cart. Dominguez was seen shaking his head as he was leaving the field.
The 28-year-old started off hot with impressive Triple-A play before being called in April to replace the injured Giancarlo Stanton.
The Yankees have not disclosed any information on his injuries or recovery timeline.
