DK Metcalf angrily punches Detroit Lions fan

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf throws a punch at a fan during Sunday's matchup against the Detroit Lions.

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf is likely to miss at least one game and pay a hefty fine after he punched a Detroit Lions fan in the face during Sunday’s matchup.

Metcalf went over to the stands in the first half appearing to argue with a fan, who was wearing a blue wig, before throwing a punch.

It’s unclear whether or not the punch actually connected, but Metcalf will certainly be fined and likely suspended. League insider Adam Schefter reports that the NFL is already looking into the incident.

The Steelers went on to score a touchdown in the last ten seconds of the first half to tie the game 10-10.
