The Carolina Hurricanes remain No. 1 in ESPN’s NHL Power Rankings, released Friday, November 6, following games through Wednesday, November 4.

The Hurricanes earned a 77.78% points percentage through Thursday, November 5. Goaltender Pyotr Kochetkov leads the team in starts and has a .921 save percentage, two shutouts, and one regulation loss.

The Minnesota Wild rose from No. 3 to No. 2 with a 73.53% points percentage. Forward Ryan Hartman averages 0.92 fantasy points per game and is available in 68.2% of ESPN fantasy leagues.

The Boston Bruins dropped from No. 2 to No. 4 despite sharing the same 73.53% points percentage as Minnesota and Edmonton. Rookie center James Hagens averages 1.98 fantasy points per game and skates at 5-on-5 with Elias Lindholm and Casey Mittelstadt.

The Tampa Bay Lightning moved from No. 6 to No. 5 with a 73.33% points percentage. Defenseman Charle-Edouard D’Astous averages 2.00 fantasy points per game and has seen his power-play time nearly triple from last season.

The Utah Mammoth dropped from No. 8 to No. 10 with a 61.76% points percentage. Goaltender Sebastian Cossa, 23, is proving to be more valuable than Karel Vejmelka and is establishing himself as a dependable option for Utah’s strong forward group.

The Ottawa Senators’ Linus Ullmark went 7–1–0 with a .945 save percentage before a lower-body injury placed him on injured reserve in late October.

The Colorado Avalanche climbed from No. 15 to No. 11 with a 58.82% points percentage. Goaltender Scott Wedgewood has a -1.51 fantasy points per game average.

ESPN’s rankings are compiled from ballots submitted by a panel of ESPN hockey commentators, analysts, reporters, and editors. Previous rankings were published October 30. Points percentages reflect standings through Thursday, November 5.

The Hurricanes’ next games are against Chicago on November 7 and Seattle on November 12. The Bruins host Florida on November 8 and visit Montreal on November 12. The Lightning play at Minnesota on November 7, at Winnipeg on November 8, at Buffalo on November 11, and at Columbus on November 12.

Fantasy notes reflect ESPN’s official fantasy scoring and roster availability metrics as of November 6.
