All-Pro linebacker Jack Campbell has signed a four-year contract extension with the Detroit Lions, he announced through the team’s social media on Thursday.

“What’s up One Pride Nation? Jack Campbell here, I just wanted to let you guys know I signed my extension,” he said. “I’m excited to be back, I’m excited to be here long term. Now it’s time to go win a Super Bowl.”

While the financial details are unknown, the new deal locks in Campbell with the Lions through the 2030 season after they declined a fifth-year team option late last month.

The 25-year-old is coming off his third NFL season in which he finished with 176 total tackles, nine tackles for loss, five sacks and four passes defended.

This breakout campaign earned him first-team AP All-Pro honors and his first Pro Bowl selection.

Campbell is one of several elite players picked out of the 2023 draft class that the Lions will look to extend over the next two years and beyond.

Star runningback Jahmyr Gibbs leads that pack, but the Lions have two seasons to work on his extension after exercising his fifth-year option.
