Caitlin Clark calls LeBron James the GOAT in courtside TV appearance

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark appeared on NBC in a courtside appearance for Sunday’s battle between the New York Knicks and the Oklahoma City Thunder. When speaking on her recent work as a guest photographer for the Indiana Pacers, Clark said LeBron James is the GOAT in her eyes.

“It’s a new hobby, you didn’t even show the pictures I took of LeBron,” Clark said. “I got it printed out and got him to sign it for me… That’s my GOAT,” Clark added.

While Clark has already explained her GOAT pick in the past, she also noted that Nikola Jokic is currently her favorite player to watch.

“Not many people can average a triple-double. Maybe you’re lucky enough to get a couple of those in a season. He’s done that all year long and in back-to-back years, so it’s pretty incredible. Honestly, he’s my favorite player to watch. I think he’s the best player in the world,” Clark said.

James continues to defy Father Time, currently playing in his 23rd NBA season and averaging 20.9 points, 6.0 rebounds and 6.9 assists per game.

There will likely never be a definitive end to the NBA GOAT debate. But as superstars like Clark grew up watching and idolizing James, we’re certainly seeing an uptick in the number of active athletes that view him as the greatest player to ever live.
