The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Detroit Pistons in a dominant fashion on Tuesday night with a finals score of 128-107. The Bucks’ duo of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard came up big for Milwaukee in the NBA Cup game win. In securing Tuesday’s win, the Bucks eliminated the Pistons from the NBA Cup and grabbed a spot in the eight-team quarterfinals.
The game was evenly matched early in the first quarter before Milwaukee jumped out to a small lead at the end of the first frame. The second quarter belonged to the Bucks as they pushed their lead to 20+ points, a lead they maintained for the rest of the night.

Antetokounmpo led the way for Milwaukee with 28 points on 10-of-11 shooting along with seven rebounds and eight assists. Damian Lillard was also big for the Bucks, finishing with 27 points, and five assists.

Cade Cunningham had 23 points and six assists, but Detroit shot just 46% from the field and 33% from 3PT range. In comparison, Milwaukee shot a blistering 56% from both the floor and from 3PT range.
Tuesday night’s win was Milwaukee’s seventh in a row after some early-season struggles. They are now 11-9 on the season while the Pistons have dropped to 9-14.
