The New York Knicks battled hard against the young Detroit Pistons in Game 6. After taking a 15-point lead early in the second quarter, things started to look good for New York.

Then, Detroit fought back. This young Pistons team showed everyone watching that they have a lot of heart. Detroit kept battling, taking a seven-point lead with just 2:35 remaining in the game.

The Pistons looked to be on the verge of sending this series to a seventh game, but ultimately, experience won out. New York kept fighting, capped off by a game-winning and series-clinching three by Jalen Brunson.

Brunson buried the Pistons as the Knicks won 116-113 and will move on to face the defending champion, Boston Celtics. As for the Pistons, they can hold their heads high for an incredible season, and it’s something they can build on for next year.
