Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders has reportedly been added to the Pro Bowl roster, per NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
Sanders is now the first Browns QB to make the Pro Bowl since Derek Anderson in 2008 and is the first 5th-round rookie to receive the honor since Puka Nacua.
In seven starts for the Browns this season, Sanders threw for 1,400 yards, seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Cleveland finished the season with a record of just 5-12, an indicator that the Browns have more important issues at hand, but being named a Pro Bowler as a rookie is a major honor.
We can only speculate whether or not he will be the Browns’ franchise QB moving forward.
