The San Antonio Spurs made a splash when they traded for De’Aaron Fox last season. Now, their move is paying off as Fox has agreed to a four-year, $229 million contract extension with the Spurs.

Fox averaged 19.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6.8 assists, and 1.5 steals per game in 17 games played with the Spurs last season.

Fox is the perfect piece that the Spurs need to fit alongside Victor Wembanyama. If the two can stay healthy, San Antonio could easily become title contenders, like they once were.
