After an admirable effort battling through an injury in the 2025 World Series, Los Angeles Dodgers lefty pitcher Blake Snell is set to make his season debut against the Atlanta Braves on Saturday, according to the California Post.

Snell last took the MLB field against the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 7 of the World Series, but he was dealing with lingering left shoulder issues.

The 33-year-old spent the offseason recovering and has spent time with the Dodgers’ Triple-A affiliate in preparation for his MLB return.

As a two-time Cy Young winner, Snell finished the 2025 campaign with 72 strikeouts in 11 regular-season starts. His return to the bullpen comes after Tyler Glasnow left Wednesday’s game against the Houston Astros with a back injury.

Regardless of Glasnow’s outlook, Snell is set to be the Dodgers’ starter on Saturday.
