Austin Reaves continues to step up big for the Los Angeles Lakers with Luka Doncic and LeBron James out. On Wednesday night, against the Minnesota Timberwolves, he drilled a game-winning floater.
The Lakers looked sharp all game long, leading by 20 points with 1:45 remaining in the third quarter. This was largely due to Jake LaRavia having the game of his life, scoring 27 points and adding eight rebounds.
LA almost blew it in the fourth, but Reaves saved the day. Reaves finished the game with 28 points, 16 assists and two steals, as he continues his dominant play.
The Lakers move to 3-2 on the season with their 116-115 victory over the Timberwolves.
