No LeBron James. No Luka Doncic. No problem. The Los Angeles Lakers faced the Sacramento Kings and despite being undermanned, LA escaped with a 127-120 victory.

The reason the Lakers won this game was solely due to Austin Reaves. The fifth-year player went off for a career-high 51 points on 12-22 from the field and 6-10 from three. More incredibly, Reaves shot 21-22 from the charity stripe.

 

The Lakers are now 2-1 on the season and look to make some noise this year. Reaves has proven to be the perfect third piece to the Lakers’ championship puzzle.
