Burns has been outstanding in his first two seasons with the Reds. He was named an All-Star for the first time this season, with an 11-1 record and 2.54 ERA across 18 starts. He has 118 strikeouts and just 37 walks across 102.2 innings pitched.
The Reds are 43-52 this season, and are currently last in the NL Central.
