On Friday, New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart introduced President Donald Trump at a rally at Rockland Community College in Suffern, New York, making headlines in the process.
Dart’s teammate, linebacker Abdul Carter, reacted to the video and questioned Dart’s decision to make the appearance.

“Thought this sh-t was AI, what we doing man,” Carter wrote.
Carter’s reaction comes after Dart took the stage on Friday to officially introduce the president to the rally attendees.
“I want to thank Jaxson Dart,” Trump said after being introduced by the QB. “This is going to be a future Hall of Famer in my book. Thank you, thank you Jaxson. Lot of talent.”
Both Dart and Carter were drafted in 2025 and had solid rookie campaigns last season.
Carter started all 17 games list season and finished with 43 tackles, four sacks and two forced fumbles.
Dart assumed the starting role after five games and went on to record 2,272 passing yards and 15 passing touchdowns to go along with 487 rushing yards and nine rushing touchdowns.
As with any political discourse in sports, this situation has caught fire on social media and will likely result in a number of difficult questions from reporters during OTAs next week.
