With the new MLB season on the horizon, the Los Angeles Dodgers are looking to become just the second team to three-peat since the 1970s. Who can stop them from winning yet another World Series?
As it stands currently, the Dodgers have far and away the best roster in the MLB.

Their sheer spending power has formed a star-studded team led by Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts and Will Smith.
With an elite pitching rotation led by reigning World Series MVP Yoshinobu Yamamoto, all signs are pointing towards L.A. this season. But baseball is a game that’s often decided by mere moments of action that sometimes come down to pure luck.
Three teams stand out as early contenders to stop the Dodgers’ quest for a third straight title.
The Toronto Blue Jays made several moves this offseason after falling to the Dodgers in a thrilling 7-game World Series. The addition of Kazuma Okamoto bolsters an already strong lineup.
As is the case with many other teams, the Blue Jays’ biggest concern may be long-term health.
The New York Yankees are another elite squad that is likely to be a contender for the World Series. Star outfielder Aaron Judge is looking to win his third-straight MVP award while leading a Yankees team that won 93 games last season. With Gerrit Cole back in the lineup, they appear primed for a deep postseason run.
Their biggest obstacle, unironically, could be the Blue Jays.
The Detroit Tigers may go under the radar at times, but an already solid roster added Framber Valdez and Justin Verlander. Those moves could prove to be monumental as the Tigers look to begin developing Kevin McGonigle.
Batting concerns are still a factor with the Tigers, but McGonigle could be exactly what they need in that regard.
Ultimately, completing a three-peat has proven to be incredibly difficult. The Dodgers have built a lineup that just might be able to pull it off, but they’re set to face some fierce competition along the way.
