The Milwaukee Bucks have received incredible news for what could happen in either Game 2 or 3 of its round one Eastern Conference playoff series versus the Indiana Pacers.
Breaking: Damian Lillard cleared to return to Bucks for playoffs
Damian Lillard has been cleared by the medical staff to return to action.
The nine-time NBA All-Star and six-time All-NBA team selection was sidelined with a blood clot in his calf for just over three weeks. According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, doctors told Bucks’ officials that Lillard’s impressive recovery is something they have never seen before. Lillard is expected to return for Game 2 or 3 for Milwaukee against Indiana. The Pacers took game one last week by the score of 117-98. Game two is scheduled for Tuesday, while game three is set for Friday, April 25.

Lillard averaged 24.9 points per game through 58 matchups this season.
