Chris Paul was one of the best point guards during the mid 2000s and early 2010s. He may be past his prime, but that hasn’t stopped Paul from breaking records.
Paul, who played his first season in San Antonio with the Spurs, saw disappointment. The Spurs’ best player, Victor Wembanyama, only played 46 games, due to the discovery of deep vein thrombosis, which caused his season to end.

The Spurs struggled without Wembanyama, finishing 34-48 on the season. They missed the playoffs, finishing 13th in the West.
Despite this underwhelming season, Paul still made history. He became the first player in their 20th season to start in all 82 games.
As of now Paul has no plans of retiring. If he returns, Paul could potentially set a new record: becoming the first NBA player to start in all 82 games during their 21st season.
