The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers matched up in a closely fought overtime battle on Sunday to end the regular season. With huge playoff stakes, the Clippers came out on top 124-119.
The loss sent the Warriors down to the 7th seed in the Western Conference, forcing them into a play-in tournament matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies.

Kawhi Leonard and James Harden both came up big for the Clippers, with Harden putting up 39 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds. Leonard finished with 33 points, six rebounds and seven assists.

Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler III did all they could for the Warriors, but Harden caught fire in overtime and the Warriors couldn’t respond. Curry had 36 points and six assists while Butler finished with 30 points and nine assists.
Curry played Sunday’s game with a wrap around his thumb and Butler was limping near the end of the game, so health will be something to monitor closely as the Warriors and Grizzlies face off on Tuesday in a play-in battle for the 7th seed.
