The worst news any Charlotte Hornets fan wants to hear now is that their star player, LaMelo Ball, is injured. Unfortunately for Hornets fans, this worst fear has become a reality.
LaMelo left tonight’s game vs. the Detroit Pistons with an ankle injury. What makes this worse is the fact the injury to LaMelo came as a result of a non-contact injury.

According to a tweet by the Twitter account @LegionHoops, LaMelo has stated that he “heard it pop.”
An updated tweet from the official Charlotte Hornets Twitter account has stated the unfortunate news that LaMelo has suffered a fracture in his right ankle.
