2016 Cavaliers recreate ‘The Hangover’ scene in epic fashion

It’s been 10 years since the Cleveland Cavaliers pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in sports history, erasing a 3-1 deficit to defeat the 73-9 Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals.

For the 10-year anniversary of the incredible feat, members of that Cavs squad came together for a reunion and recreated an iconic scene from the iconic 2009 comedy film The Hangover.

Richard Jefferson‘s video featured himself, LeBron James, Kevin Love, Channing Frye, J.R. Smith and Matthew Dellavedova.

In The Hangover, one of the more popular scenes involves the main characters watching a video montage of a chaotic and drunken night out in Las Vegas.

Much like that scene, Jefferson’s video shows the Cavs looking back on a hilarious montage that highlights the best moments from their reunion trip.

Using Flo Rida’s “Right Round” as the soundtrack, the clip shows plenty of celebrations, dancing and even some more compromised moments like Smith laid out in a deep sleep on a coach.

The 2016 Cavs pulled off something that no NBA team had done before or has ever done since and Tuesday’s video may also fall into that category.
