LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets have not had the best season thus far. With the injuries to LaMelo, to the off court distractions, and the overall poor play, Hornets fans don’t have much to smile about… Until now.

Yes, the Hornets are still nowhere near the playoffs, currently sitting in 14th place in the Eastern Conference with a 15-36 record. Still, the last two games have been good for Charlotte.

After missing three games with an injury, LaMelo returned to play against the Chicago Bulls this past Thursday. The Hornets won 111-96 over the Bulls.

Then, today, the Hornets upset the Miami Heat 122-117 behind 19 points from LaMelo. Can the Hornets keep up this new winning streak?

Things will be tough as they face the Milwaukee Bucks next. But maybe LaMelo can lead his troops to a third straight victory.
